Coursier

Terms of Service

Last updated: November 2, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Coursier Inc. ("we", "us"), which operates Coursier (the "service") at customer.coursier.io. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms, the Privacy Policy and the Acceptable Use Policy.

1. The service

Coursier gives a Jellyfin server that you run a secure public address, so you and the people you invite can reach it from any network without opening ports on your router. A plugin on your server keeps an outbound connection to one of our relay servers, which passes viewers' requests to your server and its responses back.

2. Your account

3. Plans, payment and cancellation

4. Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. In short: share only content you have the right to share, only with people you choose, and do not use the service to harm others or the service.

5. Your content and responsibility

6. Availability and changes

7. Suspension and termination

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer-protection law gives you and that cannot be waived.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For changes that matter to you, we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or in your account. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you can cancel before then.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country of Canada, without limiting mandatory consumer-protection rights where you live.
